Terms and Conditions – Knitique
Article 1 – Definitions

Cooling-off Period: The 14-day period during which a customer may cancel their digital purchase without giving a reason.

Customer: A natural person not acting in a business or professional capacity who enters into a distance contract with Knitique.

Day: A calendar day.

Duration Contract: An agreement for the recurring delivery of digital knitting patterns or services.

Durable Medium: A tool (e.g., email or file) that allows long-term access to information in an unchanged form.

Right of Withdrawal: The customer’s right to cancel the agreement within the cooling-off period.

Knitique: The business offering digital knitting patterns and related services online.

Distance Contract: A contract concluded without physical presence, using online communication tools.

Means of Distance Communication: Tools used to enter into contracts remotely (e.g., websites, email).

General Terms and Conditions: The current version of these terms, applicable to all transactions with Knitique.
Article 2 – Applicability
These terms apply to every digital offer and contract between Knitique and the customer.
Prior to purchase, customers will have access to these terms. For digital transactions, terms will be made available in a downloadable format for future reference.
If additional conditions apply to specific digital patterns or services, they will supplement these terms. In case of conflict, the condition most favorable to the customer prevails.

Article 4 – The Offer
All offers will clearly state:

Applicable terms and conditions
Offers are non-binding and may be updated or withdrawn by Knitique. Product visuals are illustrative and may differ slightly from actual downloadable content.
Article 5 – The Contract
A contract is concluded once the customer accepts the offer and completes payment.
For digital purchases, Knitique will confirm the transaction electronically. Secure systems are used to protect personal data and payment information.
Knitique reserves the right to refuse orders or impose conditions with justification.
Article 6 – Right of Cancellation
Customers may cancel their digital purchase within 14 days of receipt.
To cancel, the customer must send a written notice (e.g., email) within the cooling-off period. Upon confirmation, access to the digital product will be revoked and a refund issued.
Article 7 – Refunds in Case of Withdrawal
As products are delivered digitally, there is no return process. Refunds will be processed within 14 days after cancellation confirmation.
Article 8 – Pricing
Prices will remain fixed during the offer’s validity period, unless affected by changes in taxes or fees.
Knitique is not liable for pricing errors or typographical mistakes.
The customer is responsible for additional fees such as taxes or charges from payment platforms.
Article 9 – Product Quality & Warranty
Digital patterns will match the descriptions provided and meet reasonable expectations.
Customers must report defects within 14 days of access. Knitique will provide a fix or replacement at no extra cost if the issue is valid.

Article 10 – Delivery
Digital patterns will be delivered via email or downloadable link to the email/account provided.
Delivery typically occurs immediately after payment, but may take up to 30 days. Delays will be communicated. Customers may cancel and request a refund if delivery is unreasonably delayed.
If a product is unavailable, a suitable alternative may be offered. Customers may reject this option and receive a refund.
Article 11 – Subscription or Ongoing Services

Open-ended contracts may be cancelled with 1 month’s notice.

Fixed-term contracts will not renew automatically unless expressly agreed.

Contracts over one year may be cancelled after the first year with 1 month’s notice.
Article 12 – Payment
Payments must be completed within the period specified in the offer or confirmation.
Customers should report any billing inaccuracies immediately.
Article 13 – Complaints
Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of discovering an issue with a pattern.
Knitique will respond within 14 days, or provide an estimated resolution time.
Valid complaints will be resolved with a replacement or correction at no cost.
Article 14 – Disputes
Knitique aims to resolve disputes amicably and promptly. Customers are encouraged to reach out with concerns.
Article 15 – Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in services or policies. Customers should review this page periodically.
